The Okanagan Mission Residents Association (OMRA) is a not for profit registered association comprised of volunteers, working on behalf of all persons residing within the Okanagan Mission boundaries.
Our objective is to promote the interests of persons residing within the OMRA boundaries, to organize functions and events within our community and to facilitate interaction and dialogue between the City of Kelowna and/or other governments with our OMRA members.
We encourage all Okanagan Residents to join OMRA. Membership is easy (can be done online) and costs only $10 a year.
The purpose of the Association is to promote the interests of all persons residing within the boundaries of the Association, to proactively facilitate dialogue and interaction with all levels of government on matters that affect the quality of life of Okanagan Mission residents, to organize and promote functions and activities within the Okanagan Mission and to raise money required by the Association to meet it’s purpose.
Omra.ca is an open line of communication for residents of the Okanagan Mission area. It is meant to be a focal point for information exchange, discussions, online surveys and other things.
Anyone living in the Okanagan Mission area is eligible for membership. Membership application forms are available online.
We love volunteers whether it be as a board director or helping out at one of our organised events. We appreciate any help you can provide. If you want to help out as a Board Member or in a Volunteer position, please contact one of the directors or complete our online form.
